I believe a way to a person's heart is truly through their stomach. Here are my top dishes for making Scott love me just a little bit more every time I make them! Ranging from brunch, appetizers, dinner or dessert, these are my favorites for a memorable meal on Valentine's Day.
Bimini Bread French Toast on the Grill: sweet bread marinated in rum and cooked on the grill- sure to temp even the pickiest of eaters!
Grilled Oysters with Jalapeno Butter: Since Oysters are an aphrodisiac, adding butter and smoky goodness from the grill make them even more sensual!
Lobster Mac and Cheese: the richness of lobster paired with homemade mac and cheese. This recipe is certain to sweeten your love life.
Seared Peppercorn Encusted Tuna: who says valentine's day dishes have to be heavy and loaded with fat? Pair this with grilled veggies and you have a heart-healthy meal.
Rum Berry Cobbler: this can be made on the grill or in the oven and makes use of all the berries coming into season! It also includes one of my favorite ingredients- coconut rum!
Cranberry Orange Bread Pudding: if grilling out with your honey or friends, it is easy to bake this on the grill as you are eating the first course. This would be great with brunch as well!
Grand finale- Candied Bacon Chocolate Cupcakes: Canding Bacon + chocolate! OMG!! Cupid's arrows are disguised as bacon in these cupcakes. Be careful who you bake these for- they will be chasing you around like a love sick puppy dog!
Look at you two rocking out the latest fashionable respirator gear!
Happy Valentine’s Day to you two. We skip it since our anniversary is later this week.
I believe as you do…the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach!! All of those recipe sound wonderful…definitely gonna have to try the candied bacon chocolate cupcakes!! Bacon…chocolate..?? How can you go wrong???
