HI! I’m Robyn Lindars,
👋Hi, I’m Robyn Lindars, the creator of GRILLGIRL.COM and the GRILGIRL® brand. Since 2008, I’ve been on an amazing grilling adventure!. All praise goes to Jesus, my Lord and Savior, for the blessings and opportunities bestowed upon me through the inception of this website, born from my love of cooking and sharing it with others. Since starting this blog, which has evolved into a recipe website with over 700 grilling recipes, I’ve had the opportunity to be featured on The Today Show, The Cooking Channel, The Travel Channel, and many other platforms to share my love of grilling and clean ingredient recipes. I am a cookbook author, a certified Steak Cookoffs Judge, and an advocate for animal-based eating, which is where my love for steak and butter comes from. I also compete on The Shed BBQ Competition Team, the current and three-time World Champions of BBQ. Empowering other women to grill has always been at the heart of the GRILLGIRL brand and I host annual Women’s Grilling Clinics on my ranch to empower more women to embrace outdoor cooking. I’m also a wife, mom, and ‘crazy chicken lady’ who owns 25 chickens and 12 ducks. Follow along behind the scenes of my life on Instagram @grillgirlrobyn to join in the fun. In 2019, I launched my first cookbook, entitled “Healthy Electric Smoker: 100 Recipes with All Natural Ingredients and Fewer Carbs” published by DK books/Random House.
In 2021 I launched my Sunshine State of Mind Craft BBQ Rub and Cocktail Rimmer, what many fans call the “Crack of BBQ Rub”. This is citrus based rub with notes of Kaffir lime, granulated honey, Himalayan salt and coriander that elevates everything it touches, and also doubles as a cocktail rimmer! It works well on chicken, pork, beef, veggies and even a margarita! It is junk free, preservative and gluten free non GMO ingredients you can feel good about using on EVERYTHING!
I live in Fort Myers, FL with my husband, an avid outdoorsmen, my son Hunter, and my 3 dogs (all rescues!). In 2020 My husband and I traded in city life in the greater Miami area for country life in North Fort Myers where we built a house from scratch on 30 acres – there was nothing but trees, not even a road or electricity. You can follow along our country life adventures on my instagram account where my 25 chickens and 10 ducks have developed a loyal following.
In the time I’ve had this blog I’ve documented my life experiences such as getting married, renovating a house (while pregnant!), having a baby, losing my furr babies, and renovating a vintage tin can camper. Now it’s getting even crazier as we are pioneering Punta Gorda, Florida! Thanks for being part of my journey!

I teach “Women’s Grilling Clinics” to empower women to learn about grilling; I launched my GRILL SCHOOL Series empower everyone to learn the basics of grilling including how to start a grill, create direct versus indirect zones, cook the perfect steak on the grill, even cook desserts on the grill….
