Nothing beats the flavor of asparagus that’s been grilled – unless of course it’s coated in garlic infused olive oil and Parmesan cheese.
PrintGrilled Asparagus with Garlic and Parmesan Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 lb. asparagus (thick spears)
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 tsp. fresh parsley
- a pinch of sea salt
- 1 tsp. freshly cracked pepper
- 1/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
In a bowl combine the olive oil, minced garlic, and parsley. Sprinkle sea salt and pepper on your asparugus and brush thoroughly with the olive oil mixture. Grill for 5 – 10 minutes. Plate your asparagus and sprinkle fresh grated Parmesan cheese all over.

One of my favorites for steak!
I love grilled asparagus. This is my absolute favourite way to eat them. I sometimes finish them with a bit of lemon zest as well.
Green beans are also awesome on the grill and I usually prepare them the same way as I do asparagus. Only with the green beans, I sometimes add some red pepper flakes to the oil mixture before grilling.
