Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 14 oz frozen meatballs I used Turkey Meatballs
  • 1 4 oz can sliced olives water drained.
  • ½ cup marinara sauce- for putting behind the "eyes" and also for dipping.

Instructions

  • Preheat your pellet smoker or oven to 350 degrees.
  • Using a pizza cutter, cut the crescent rolls into 1/4" inch strips. Wrap the strips around the meatball, making them look like a mummy. Leave a small space to put the olive "eyes".
  • Dip the olive into a small amount of marinara, using the marinara as the "glue" that holds the olive "eye" onto the meatball. Do this for the entire package of meatballs until all meatballs are wrapped in dough and have their eyes attached.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the dough begins to brown and the meatballs are cooked through.
  • Serve with remaining (heated) marinara for dipping!

Notes

Can optionally be served as "Minion" meatballs.
