Description

If you’re looking for a HOT dog recipe with major “WOW” factor, this is it. Guinness braised all beef hot dogs are grilled and then topped with melted provolone, and then topped with Guinness caramelized onions, bacon, pickled jalapenos and crushed up potato chips, tied together with a secret sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 6 pack of Guinness Beer
  • 1 package hot dog buns (look for organic such as Whole Foods or Rudi’s Baker Sourdough)
  • 1 package of all beef, nitrate free hot dogs- at least 4 hot dogs
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced – these will be caramelized in Guinness
  • 1 package sliced provolone- at least 4 slices
  • 6 slices crispy bacon, chopped into pieces
  • 1 cup potato chips- crushed for putting on top of the hot dogs
  • 1 jar pickled jalapenos

Hot Dog Sauce:

  • ½ cup seed oil free mayo
  • ½ cup dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup Wickles Pickles spicy red sandwich spread
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
