Description
The bacon martini is the perfect martini for bacon lovers! This martini pairs the flavors of bacon vodka with peach juice and chambord for the perfect fusion of sweet, salty and crunchy to make for an epic bacon lover’s martini!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ounces vodka
- ½ ounce Chambord
- ¾ ounce Peach Juice
Garnish:
- Sunshine State of Mind Craft BBQ Rub
- BBQ Sauce
- Maraschino Cherry
- Peach Slice
- Slice of Bacon
Instructions
If you’ve already made bacon vodka (link Bacon Vodka Recipe), then making a bacon martini is even easier! Follow these steps to create the perfect cocktail:
- Add a drizzle of BBQ Sauce to the inside of your stemless martini glass and then freeze the glass overnight.
- Chill the vodka: Make sure the bacon vodka is well chilled before making the cocktail.
- Prepare the garnish: Cook a few extra strips of bacon until crispy and set them aside for garnishing the cocktail.
- Drizzle your glass with a BBQ sauce of your choice and put it in the freezer.
- Make the cocktail: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1 ½ oz of the chilled bacon vodka, 1/2 oz of Chambord, and ¾ oz of Peach Juice
- Rim your glass by using a peach slice and Sunshine State of Mind Craft BBQ Rub (link rub), and chill glass in the freezer.
- Shake and strain: Shake the cocktail vigorously for about 10 seconds to chill the ingredients and blend the flavors. Strain the cocktail into your chilled martini glass.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish the cocktail with a skewer of crispy bacon, a peach slice, and a maraschino cherry and serve immediately.
