Bacon Jam Burgers are reputably one of best things in life. It all starts with the best bacon jam recipe on the web, slathered over a juicy AF grilled burger.
- 16 oz, 1 lb 80/20 ground beef – I prefer Snake River Farms Wagyu
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- dash Worchestershire Sauce
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
For the Secret Sauce
- ½ cup mayo
- 2 tbsp. ketchup
- 1 tbsp. mustard
- 1 tbsp. pickle relish (either sweet or dill is okay)
- 1 dash onion powder
- 1 dash smoked paprika
Directions: In order to make make Bacon Jam Burgers, make Bacon Jam ahead of time and have ready to slather on burgers.
Combine all the burger ingredients and form into 4 patties. Heat your grill to 400 degrees and grill until your desired doneness, adding the cheese after flipping over- I like mine cooked medium about 145 degrees but the USDA recommends to 160 (which in my opinion is overcooked).
Combine Secret sauce ingredients next. Slather buns with secret sauce, then add the burgers, then add a heaping tablespoonful of Bacon Jam onto the patty.
Add tomato and arugula and then add your top bun. Prepare for the best burger of your life!
