Bacon Jam Burgers
Bacon Jam Burgers are reputably one of best things in life. It all starts with the best bacon jam recipe on the web, slathered over a juicy AF grilled burger.
Servings: 4 burgers
Ingredients
- 16 oz 1 lb 80/20 ground beef - I prefer Snake River Farms Wagyu
- 1 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- dash Worchestershire Sauce
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
Secret Sauce:
- For the Secret Sauce
- ½ cup mayo
- 2 tbsp. ketchup
- 1 tbsp. mustard
- 1 tbsp. pickle relish either sweet or dill is okay
- 1 dash onion powder
- 1 dash smoked paprika
- Muenster Cheese
- Arugula Tomatos
Instructions
- Directions: In order to make make Bacon Jam Burgers, make Bacon Jam ahead of time and have ready to slather on burgers.
- Combine all the burger ingredients and form into 4 patties. Heat your grill to 400 degrees and grill until your desired doneness, adding the cheese after flipping over- I like mine cooked medium about 145 degrees but the USDA recommends to 160 (which in my opinion is overcooked).
- Combine Secret sauce ingredients next. Slather buns with secret sauce, then add the burgers, then add a heaping tablespoonful of Bacon Jam onto the patty.
- Add tomato and arugula and then add your top bun. Prepare for the best burger of your life!
