Fire Roasted Tomato Salsa on the Grill

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 vine tomatoes
  • 4 jalapeños
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 3 cambray onions
  • 1/2 bunch of cilantro
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Grill the vegetables until blackened on all sides, 10 to 15 per side.
  2. Transfer vegetables to a blender or food processor pulse once for a chunky consistency, or three times for a purée consistency.
  3. Transfer to a salsa bowl. Add the cumin, oregano, chopped cilantro, lime juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Give everything a stir and enjoy!
