Ingredients
- 4 quart ball/kerr jars
- 1 box graham crackers
- 3 packages of Ghiradelli Squares (5.3 oz bag) – I bought a combo of the Dark and Sea Salt Caramel and Peppermint/Chocolate
- 2 bags large marshmallows (I bought some vanilla and chococlate gourmet marshmallows but regular Kraft marshmallows actually work better!)
- 25 large bambo skewers (for the marshmallows)
Craft Supplies:
- Chalkboard Stickers
- White Paint Pen
- Raffia, Jingle bells, tags– for putting directions on the kit (believe it or not some people have never heard or Smores- surely they were never a girl/boyscout!)
Instructions
You will need to cut the graham crackers in half using a knife, forming a stack of 8 squares (this is the most that will fit into the jar at one time). I wrapped these in a small piece of saran wrap, and when placing in the jar, place the pretty side out so that “clean” side is visible from the outside. Next, layer chocolate on all three remaining sides of the graham crackers. You will be able to place about 6-7 squares of chocolate. Next, add your marshmallows in 3 layers (place them long side up to fit best and look tidy in the jar).
Finish the jars with fun chalkboard stickers, raffia, and skewers. I attached tags with directions and tied some jingle bells on to be festive.
