I really love pickles so when Vlasic asked me if I’d like to review their new Farmers Garden Pickles I said “Heck yeah”! If you love pickles as much as I do, check out my “fake fried pickle recipe” – it’s one of my most popular recipes on pinterest.

Vlasic’s Farmers Garden comes in a cute mason jar and looks like the type pickles you would get from a farmers market with larger than average pickle slices, mixed in with pickled carrots, bell peppers, garlic cloves and herbs/spices. The taste is more similar to the higher quality pickles you could get at a nice deli, with more crunch than your average off-the-shelf pickles. I like that the jar is cute enough that you could bring it a party and serve it out of the jar, versus other pickle brands you would definitely put the pickles on a serving platter.

    My favorite way to eat pickles, well, I have two: I like to add slices of bread and butter to my tuna salad on my sandwich. And, since my late mom liked to make home made pickles, I like having the fresh dills with my grilled cheese-tastes just like the ones she used to make!

    while a pickle by itself is fine, the best use for a pickle is in a Cuban Sandwich… and the only way to do it is to make your own pulled pork, some quality deli ham, yellow mustard, pickles and swiss cheese… but what makes this sandwich awesome is pressing it on a griddle

    I like to make my own relishes, salads and sauces.
    I dice pickles to use in tuna salad, chicken salad, egg salad, tartar sauce, 1000 island dressing, etc. They taste so much better when made fresh with Vlasic Pickles!

    My Dad absolutely loves Vlasic Pickles. His favorites have always been the Bread and Butter chips and we usually make him a pickle/olive tray for major holiday meals. This year, he had a stroke the Sunday before Thanksgiving and we had to postpone dinner. Because of his continued recovery, he had to take a raincheck this year. But we’re still planning on him being able to join us for Christmas dinner (or we’ll take it to him) along with his favorite Vlasic pickles.

    I enjoy pickles almost every day w/my lunch-I have a shelf in our refrigerator that’s full of them. I especially like to add thin sliced gherkins or midgets or kosher dills to my grilled cheese – try it – just make sure the pickle is dry before topping the cheese and bread to grill

    love pickles on my burgers but best in potato salad
    4-5 yellow potatoes (cut into small cubes pealed and boiled)
    2 hard boiled eggs (cut into small cubes)
    1 sm onion minced
    1lbs bologna cut into small cubes
    4 pickles into small cubes

    mix together with some real mayo.

    Love fried pickles from a BBQ place in Tallahassee. Haven’t been able to match their method but will keep trying.

    Pickles…..Love to can my own. Sweet pickles, dill pickles, bread and butter. Ya just can’t go wrong with them. Thanks Christopher for the salad recipe.

    My favorite way to eat pickles in in relish form on a hot dog. I actually chopped up some Vlasic bread and butter chips and had the best hot dog I have ever eaten. But I also like them on burgers or just plain out of the jar.

    OHHHHHHH I SOOOOO love fried pickles. They are actually my first food memory from when I was young living in Jackson, Miss at a place called Cock of the Walk. Most people don’t know that I was actually born in that state originally, not NC!
