Grilled Asparagus with Garlic and Parmesan Cheese

Nothing beats  the flavor of  asparagus that’s been grilled – unless of course it’s coated in garlic infused olive oil and Parmesan cheese.

1 lb. asparagus (thick spears)

2 cloves of garlic (minced)

1/4 cup of olive oil

1 tsp. fresh parsley

a pinch of sea salt

1 tsp. freshly cracked pepper

1/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese

In a bowl combine the olive oil, minced garlic, and parsley. Sprinkle sea salt and pepper on your asparugus and brush thoroughly with the olive oil mixture. Grill for 5 – 10 minutes.  Plate your asparagus and sprinkle fresh grated Parmesan cheese all over.

One of my favorites for steak!

I love grilled asparagus. This is my absolute favourite way to eat them. I sometimes finish them with a bit of lemon zest as well.

Green beans are also awesome on the grill and I usually prepare them the same way as I do asparagus. Only with the green beans, I sometimes add some red pepper flakes to the oil mixture before grilling.

I’ve been off the grid for a bit but back online now. Hope all is well Robyn!
